Melissa L. Miller, Ph.D.
I'm a Licensed Psychologist who practices in Durham, North Carolina. I currently have an independent practice, and I collaborate with several colleagues and community partners to provide effective clinical services and workshops throughout The Triangle.
Education and training:
Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology - Marquette University (2013)
Pre-doctoral Internship - Duke University Medical Center
Post-doctoral Fellowship - Duke University Medical Center
I am expertly trained in a wide variety of Cognitive Behavioral Therapies (CBTs). I'm also intensively trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and certified by the DBT-Linehan Board of Certification. I specialize in working with individuals who struggle with mood, anxiety, and emotion regulation difficulties. You can find more information about my clinical expertise on the individual therapy page.
In my free time, I like to hang out with my husband and dog, spend time in nature (especially in the mountains), listen to music, and participate in the vibrant art communities in The Triangle. I'm likely to be working on several different arts and crafts projects at any given time.
